Simply no complains at all, luxurious stay. Well-kept and nicely decorated room with a beautiful view from my balcony, absolutely perfect location to all the major attractions in the Nara Park area. Our stay at Wakasa Annex was lovely. The Japanese-style room was spacious and comfortable, with cozy futons for a good night's sleep. The location near Nara Park made it very convenient for sightseeing. We also appreciated that the mini bar was stocked with complimentary water, beer, and soft drinks. Despite a few minor inconveniences, such as an early checkout time and limited dining options, we had a pleasant experience overall. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay in Nara.

I had a delightful stay at this hotel in this city. The location was superb as it was close to all the main sightseeing areas that I wanted to visit. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and I appreciated the map they provided me with to navigate the city. The rooms were clean and well-equipped, including a traditional-style decor and beautiful sliding doors. I also loved the breakfast which provided both Japanese and Western styles.
There was nothing I didn't like.

The hotel is situated in a fantastic location, close to both the park and the shopping district. Tōdai-ji temple is only a short walk away, and the staff provides a helpful map for getting around. the shared hot bath is a great way to relax after a long day of sightseeing, and the breakfast offers a range of options to suit different tastes.
The room was quite small and lacked some amenities that other ryokans offer.

The location of the hotel was perfect for our romantic escape. It was tucked away in a quiet area, providing a serene and peaceful atmosphere. We loved being able to take a leisurely stroll to nearby temples and shrines, immersing ourselves in the beautiful culture of the city. The kaiseki meal served at the hotel was an absolute highlight. The food was exquisite, with each course being expertly prepared and presented. It truly exceeded our expectations and added an extra touch of luxury to our stay.
One of the downsides of our experience was the early checkout time. It would have been nice to have a bit more time to relax and enjoy the hotel before having to leave.

The hotel is conveniently located near Nara park and the main attractions, making it easy to explore the city. The traditional Japanese style rooms offer a beautiful view from the balcony, giving a true ryokan experience. The attention to detail in the room's design, with a nice "modern ryokan" style, adds to the overall ambiance.
All in all, my stay at this hotel was okay.
